What you’ll make

  • Small class: 6–8 participants (keeps pottery instruction hands-on)

What’s included

  • All pottery materials: clay, tools, aprons, glaze, firing.

  • Instruction from a teacher for hand-building or wheel-throwing your platter (you choose style).

  • Your piece will be glazed and fired after class; finished pieces ready for pickup in 7–10 days.

What to bring / wear

  • Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on; closed-toe shoes recommended.

  • We provide aprons, but feel free to bring a favorite apron or a hair tie.

  1. Welcome & intro (10-15 min) — Meet, grab a drink, pick your spot at the table

  2. Pottery time (60–75 min) — Demonstration, hands-on forming, trimming, surface decoration (stamps, carved patterns, slip trailing).

  3. Wrap up & next steps (5–10 min) — Glaze choices confirmed; firing timeline and pickup details; optional shop browsing.
