Pottery Workshop: Make a Ceramic Charcuterie Board
What we’ll make
A handmade stoneware charcuterie board sized roughly 10" × 7" (adjustable to your preference)
Materials & tools provided
Add surface details
Plan zones for cheese/meat/olives. Carve shallow channels or slightly concave areas with loop tools or ribs. Use stamps, texture tools, or simple lines to create segmented areas.
Create finishing touches
Add holes or a handle cutout if desired (smooth edges). Ensure overall thickness is even where practical.
Workshop flow
Welcome & Introductions, mingling , snacking, getting a glass of bubbly (10-15 min)
Hands-on shaping: ( 60-70 min)
Bisque & glaze schedule explained; pick-up timeline and glaze options discussed (10 min)
Boards can take up to 4 weeks to be ready for pickup. You need to schedule a time to pick it up or I can leave it in a secure place outside my studio for you to pick up at your convenience.
Pottery results are always a fun mystery- things warp, crack, glazes come out differently etc- If your board cracks or becomes unusable in some way - I will issue you a $35 refund. The remaining fee covers my time, cost of snacks and drinks provided.
