What’s included
All pottery materials: clay, tools, aprons, glaze, firing.
Instruction from a teacher for hand-building or wheel-throwing your platter (you choose style).
Your piece will be glazed and fired after class; finished pieces ready for pickup in 7–10 days.
What to bring / wear
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on; closed-toe shoes recommended.
We provide aprons, but feel free to bring a favorite apron or a hair tie.
Agenda (sample)
Welcome & intro (10-15 min) — Meet, grab a drink, pick your spot at the table
Pottery time (60–75 min) — Demonstration, hands-on forming, trimming, surface decoration (stamps, carved patterns, slip trailing).
Wrap up & next steps (5–10 min) — Glaze choices confirmed; firing timeline and pickup details; optional shop browsing.
Customization options
Add-ons may be available for an extra fee: (dipping bowls, condiment spoons)
